    Saint Louis College Of Education Cries Over Lack Of Infrastructures

    Authorities and Students of Saint Louis College of Education in the Ashanti Region are lamenting bitterly about lack of infrastructure at the school to meet the growing demands.They situation is disturbing negatively the teaching and learning practices.

    Principal of the school Monica Konnie Mensah says the absence of the Health facility and other infrastructure is having a negative toll on academic activities in the school.

    The government has for the past years supported the school with some infrastructure such as classroom and dormitory blocks. But Madam Monica Konnie Mensah notes the current infrastructure is inadequate.

    “Our student population is growing and very worrying is the inadequate hostel facilities and the absence of a health facility.

    She made this known when the 2004 year group of St.Louis College of Education donated projectors worth Gh¢ 10,000 to their alma mater.

    “This generous donation is expected to enhance the teaching and learning experience at St.Louis College of Education, and the college community is grateful for the alumni’s continued support. She said;

    Meanwhile Rev. Freda Baah Nyarko, the group president who presented the items on behalf of the 2004 group, said, the gesture was a token to show appreciation for the college’s impact on their lives.

    She therefore appealed to other stakeholders to support the college in addressing some of the challenges that hinder it’s smooth operation.
