Tragedy at Aburaso: Nursery Pupil Crushed to Death After Logs Fall From Moving Truck

A heartbreaking accident at Aburaso near Adugyama in the Ashanti Region has claimed the life of a young nursery pupil identified as Daniel after huge cyber logs fell from a moving truck and crushed him.

According to reports, the long vehicle, with registration number GE 9901-11, was transporting logs on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, when part of its load slipped off and tumbled onto three children walking home from school.

Little Daniel was rushed to the Bechem Hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Two other children who were caught under the falling logs sustained serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at the same facility.

Eyewitnesses who spoke to the media described the tragic moment:

“The children were walking by the roadside from school when the logs suddenly fell. Unfortunately, Daniel could not survive.”

The incident has left the entire community in shock and deep sorrow as family members struggle to process the painful loss of the young boy.

Police have officially taken over the scene and launched investigations to determine what triggered the mishap and whether the truck operators failed to comply with safety measures.
