KUMAWU MP DONATES GHC 10,000 TO BOOST ASANTE OYOKO HOMECOMING, URGES COMMUNITY-LED DEVELOPMENT
Nananom and the youth of Asante Oyoko in the Sekyere Kumawu District have rallied together to raise funds in support of key development projects in the community.
Representing the Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, Mr. Ernest Asafo Agyei announced a generous donation of GHC 10,000 from the MP to support the homecoming initiative.
Chairman of the Asante Oyoko Homecoming Development Committee, Mr. Collins Agyei, used the occasion to call on natives living outside the town to return home and contribute meaningfully to its growth and transformation.
He also appealed to government to prioritize job creation and expand development opportunities for the youth in Oyoko.
Adding his voice, Nana Agyarko Ababio II urged residents to take proactive steps toward developing their community instead of relying solely on government support.
He further expressed gratitude to Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim and all individuals who contributed to the success of the homecoming programme.
