NPP Treasurer Hopeful Urges Unity as Constituency Executive Elections Are Postponed Indefinitely

An aspiring Constituency Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima Mponua Constituency, Agyeman Opambour,has expressed gratitude to party members for their overwhelming support while urging unity and calm following the indefinite postponement of the party’s Constituency Executive Elections by the National Steering Committee.
In a statement of appreciation,Mr. Opambour thanked polling station executives, electoral area coordinators,party faithful, friends and supporters for their unwavering encouragement throughout his campaign,describing their confidence in him as a source of inspiration and renewed determination.
He noted that although the postponement had delayed the electoral process,it had not diminished his commitment to serving the party and pursuing his vision of promoting accountability,strengthening the party’s finances,restoring confidence among members, and positioning the NPP for victory in future elections.
Mr.Opambour appealed to his supporters to remain calm, loyal,and committed to the party’s grassroots activities,expressing confidence that their collective efforts would eventually be rewarded when a new election date is announced.
He also congratulated the current Constituency Executives on the extension of their mandate and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with humility,fairness and dedication.
According to him, the interest of the New Patriotic Party must always take precedence over personal differences.
The Treasurer hopeful further called on the constituency executives and the Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua to put aside any existing misunderstandings and work together in the supreme interest of the party.
He stressed that unity, mutual respect,and collaboration among party leaders are essential to rebuilding the confidence of supporters and ensuring that the NPP retains the Atwima Mponua parliamentary seat in the next general election.

Mr. Opambour cautioned party members against allowing internal divisions to create opportunities for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasizing that discipline, hard work, and unity remain the surest path to electoral success.
Concluding his message,he reassured his supporters that the postponement of the elections should not weaken their resolve, insisting that “our victory has only been delayed, not denied.” He expressed optimism that,with God’s guidance and the continued support of party members,their shared vision for a stronger and more united Atwima Mponua NPP would become a reality.
