Aggrieved Nwamase residents Protest Over poor roads Condition, threatening to boycott December 7th general polls:

Score of Aggrieved residents of Agric-Nwamase in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region are threatening to boycott upcoming December 7th general elections should the authorities fail to hear their cry over the poor state of the road network system.

According to them, the situation is affecting day to day activities negatively.

They took to the streets on thursday to protest the government’s failure to address critical infrastructure needs, particularly the poor road conditions in the area.

The angry residents blocked major roads links to the Communities like Kwadaso,Nsema Apire and Santase, expressing frustration over what they describe as long-standing neglect by authorities. In addition to bad roads, they voiced concerns about deteriorating education and health facilities, issues they claim have been ignored despite repeated appeals.

Speaking to the demonstrators, they issued a serious warning, threatening to halt the upcoming December 7 elections if their demands are not met before voting day.

They are calling on authorities to take immediate action to fix the roads and improve essential services.

In his quick response, the member of Parliament for Kwadaso Constituency,Hon Dr Kingsley NYARKO, assured them that, contractor will move to site next week to commence the construction of Nwamase road project.
