    SEKYERE KUMAWU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY DONATES TO PWD’S

    Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly led by the chief executive officer,Hon Addai Agyekum as part of it’s corperete social responsibilities on Friday,1st November,2024 at Oyoko,Dadease,Kumawu,Banko and many communities,presented some items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to person’s with disabilities (PWD’S) to support their welfare.

     

    The event formed part of regular care programs of the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP where seeks for pressing needs of residents (Ghanaians) and put smile on their faces.

    The items donated for distribution includes,Table top fridge,Oven,Gas cylinder and physical cash and many more to commence their business.

    Presenting the items to the beneficiaries,hon Agyekum,the current DCE noted that,the overall aim for this donation is to help motivate or boost the welfare of the PWD’s members.Giving the statistics, the New Patriotic Party-NPP inherited 150 membership from the opposition NDC and have increased to over 1,200 beneficiaries after we took over from 2017.

    He again pledged more intervention to rescue after the has been given to them after 2024 general.

    On his part,the Member of Parliament for the good people of Kumawu Constituency in Ashanti region,Hon Ernest Yaw Anim also assured the general public with massive votes in way of showing appreciation come 2024 elections scheduled on December 7th.

    Receiving the items at an elaborate ceremony on behalf of the beneficiaries, Evelyn Agyapong resident at Kumawu Oyoko, expressed profound appreciation to Hon Addae Agyekum,the district chief executive of Sekyere Kumawu,Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, the fragbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP for such overwhelming gesture and pledged to use the items for the intended purpose.

    He again vowed to rally behind them with their prayers until NPP achieved it’s desire goals.
