EPA Leads Green Push at Central Expo’25

The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has thrown its weight behind the 2025 “24-Hour Economy Central Expo” in the Central Region, championing the theme “Unlocking Business Opportunities in the Central Region.”
The week-long fair, running from August 23 to 30, 2025, is organized by the Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) and the Central Regional Development Authority (CEREDA). It serves as a hub for boosting trade, tourism, and investment, while giving SMEs a powerful platform to market their products.
The colorful opening ceremony was graced by the Central Regional Minister, Hon. Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere, the Regional House of Chiefs, and major institutions including COA Research and Manufacturing Company Ltd, Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Atlantic Lithium Company, NHIS, and SSNIT.
Delivering her address, EPA CEO Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse highlighted the Authority’s role in guiding businesses toward eco-friendly growth. She encouraged exhibitors to visit the EPA stand for support on permitting requirements and regulatory procedures.
“The EPA is committed to protecting our environment while creating room for businesses to thrive. Sustainability and growth must go hand in hand,” she stressed.
With the EPA’s backing, Central Expo’25 is not just unlocking opportunities it’s setting the stage for sustainable business growth in the region.
