“Innovating for Prosperity: How Project Management Will Shape Ghana’s Economic Future.”

But this wasn’t just a celebration of projects,it was a showcase of strategy, resilience, and purpose-driven execution.

At the heart of MTN’s wins was the revolutionary NextGen MoMo App. Built on the company’s PACE pillars Platforms, Ecosystems, Agility, and Customer Experience, this next-gen platform is setting a new benchmark for mobile financial services. From faster transactions to enhanced security and seamless design, it’s mobile money reimagined for the digital-first future.

2nd Runner-Up, Project of the Year – Massive-MIMO Project

In a quiet but powerful transformation, MTN’s Massive-MIMO initiative upgraded network capacity without adding new towers. By leveraging existing infrastructure, the project amplified 4G speeds up to 8x in high-traffic areas like Greater Accra and Ashanti,a striking example of resourceful innovation.

More Than Awards,A Movement

In 2025, project management isn’t just a function,it’s a force multiplier. MTN Ghana’s victories at PMEA show that with the right tools, talent, and vision, local organizations can lead global standards, drive prosperity, and deliver impact at scale.

From transforming how Ghanaians move money to optimizing national networks, MTN Ghana isn’t just winning awards,it’s building the blueprint for what transformational project leadership looks like in Africa.
