Hon. Eric Assibey Vows to Strengthen Security in Kwadaso

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwadaso, Hon.Eric Assibey, has announced that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has implemented a series of precautionary measures aimed at combating crime across the country,particularly within the Kwadaso Municipality in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking in an interview with www.dailywatchgh.com at his office, Mr. Assibey revealed that the Assembly is working on new strategies to eliminate lawlessness in the municipality. He emphasized the importance of creating a secure environment for residents and businesses alike.

Addressing the recent unauthorized return of onion sellers who had previously been relocated to Atwima Denkyemuoso Techiman by the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, the MCE distanced himself from any involvement in their return. He urged the traders and the general public to comply with the law, noting that the issue is currently under judicial review.

“The law must be respected by all. Until the court makes a ruling, everyone is expected to remain law-abiding,” Hon. Assibey concluded.
