I Did Not Say LGBTQ Bill Must Be Legalized -Archbishop Addai to Ghanaians

The leader of Shiloh United Church, International Council Of Churches and Ministers Of Great Britain,Archbishop Samuel Richard Addai has urged Ghanaians to desist from mounting pressure on President Akufo-Addo for delaying assenting to the Anti-LGBT+Bill.

Per his assertion, the President has already signed the bill in his heart “and I am optimistic that, he is not in support of LGBT+ but rather against it.

“I believe strongly that Ghanaians will soon see the first gentleman of the land signing the bill”.

He said, Ghanaians should expect worse economic hardship than what the nation is currently facing if LGBTQ+ is legalized in Ghana.

Any Ghanaian who supports LGBTQ+ is an agent of the devil (anti-Christ), no matter your pedigree, position, religion or party affiliation.

In an interview with this medium, Archbishop Samuel Addai made this know to the public during celebration of Easter festivity during Palm Sunday church service at their church auditorium,Tanoso Kumasi.

He indicated that, time is due to stop doing politics with Ghanaian Anti-LBGQ+ bill which will have serious tendency on the peace that we are enjoying in the country despite serious economic hardship.

“We Ghanaians are not ready to experience what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah time”.

He therefore admonished Ghanaians especially, Christians to stand against the legalization of this LGBTQ bill.
