Businessman and IT specialist Mr. Kwaku Kyei Ofori popularly known as KKO has once again demonstrated his strong commitment to Atwima Kwanwoma community development with a generous donation of a brand-new air conditioner, valued at thousands of Ghana cedis, to the National Identification Authority (NIA) office at Twedie in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.
Mr. Kwaku Kyei Ofori realised that the NIA office has been struggling with rising temperatures and limited ventilation conditions that negatively impact staff productivity and the quality of service delivering to the good people of Atwima Kwanwoma.
Mr. Ofori, who previously contested in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, explained that the gesture forms part of his broader mission to support government institutions and strengthen public service infrastructure within the district.
He emphasized that national development is a shared responsibility, stressing that “government alone cannot do it all.” Mr. Ofori therefore encouraged philanthropists, corporate bodies, and natives of Atwima Kwanwoma to contribute meaningfully to the district’s growth and transformation.
According to him, ensuring that government workers operate in a comfortable and stress-free environment is one of his top priorities, as it directly boosts efficiency and helps fast-track the progress of the district.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the NIA, the District Registration Officer, Prince Atta Frimpong expressed deep appreciation, describing the support as both timely and impactful. He noted that the installation of the air conditioner will significantly improve working conditions, especially during peak registration seasons when staff endure long hours.
Mr. Frimpong further appealed to other well-meaning individuals and organizations to support the office with additional chairs, highlighting the persistent shortage of seating during busy operational days.
The gesture adds to Mr. Ofori’s growing list of developmental contributions in the district, cementing his reputation as a dedicated advocate for local progress and improved public service delivery.
He was accompanied by Mr. Joseph Adu-Poku, former District NABCO Director for Atwima Kwanwoma, and Mr. Fred Kwadwo Yeboah, former Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency Youth Organizer on the NPP ticket, among other supporters.
