Valentine’s Day:MTN Ghana Rescues Lives Organizes Nationwide Blood Donation
As part of it’s effort to save lives, MTN Ghana Foundation on valentine’s day intensified massive nationwide blood donation exercise to Support National Healthcare delivery.
MTN Ghana Foundation organized its annual ‘Save a Life’ blood donation drive in Kumasi.
MTN is aiming to collect 6,110 units of blood.
The event was held in three Senior High Schools
On Valentine’s Day, the MTN Ghana Foundation organized its annual ‘Save a Life’ blood donation drive in Kumasi, aiming to collect 6,110 units of blood.
This initiative, which began in 2011, has successfully collected over 29,000 units of blood to date.
The event was held in three Senior High Schools namely: Technology, Bonwire, and Asanteman, and is part of MTN’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s healthcare system.
According to Simon Amoh, Senior Manager of General Trade (Northern Sector), the collected blood will replenish the National Blood Service and regional hospital blood banks across the 16 regions of Ghana.
MTN Ghana Foundation’s efforts demonstrate the company’s dedication to promoting health and well-being, and its promise to continue saving lives through such initiatives.
