Wontumi Boy Donates to BECE Students At Presbyterian Church:

Samuel Ofori Boateng, a Kumasi-based broadcast journalist known as “Missed Call,” has donated mathematical sets worth a substantial amount of Ghana cedis to BECE students at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Peace Congregation in Sokoban.

This initiative aims to promote academic excellence among the students.

During the donation, Samuel advised the students to take their studies seriously, emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication to achieve good grades.

Mr Samuel encouraged the students to uphold academic integrity and avoid cheating, which can lead to severe consequences, including result cancellations and prosecution.

He said,malpractices are a significant concern in Ghana’s education system and the Ministry of Education and WAEC have implemented measures to combact it.

This involves generating unique question sets for each student or region to prevent leakage and cheating.


He reminded them that, WAEC and the Ghana Education Service work together to ensure the integrity of examinations.

Samuel’s donation and advice align with these efforts, promoting a culture of academic integrity and excellence among students.

Receiving the presentation on behalf of candidates in the church,the minister in charge, Reverend Frank Amusu appreciated Mr Samuel’s commitment to education in the congregation.
