Bonteso Residents Join Hon. Prince Manu Morris for Sanitation Day

Residents of Bonteso in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region over the weekend joined their District Chief Executive, Hon. Prince Manu Morris, alongside security agencies and Assembly staff, to mark the National Sanitation Day with a massive cleanup exercise.

Armed with brooms, shovels, and wheelbarrows, the community cleared choked gutters, swept streets, and weeded public spaces. The exercise drew a strong turnout, with both the youth and the elderly actively participating.

Hon. Manu Morris praised the effort of the people, saying: “Good sanitation is the foundation of good health. I am proud of the people of Bonteso for showing that when we work together, we can make our community a better place for all.”

Residents also expressed appreciation to the DCE, with one participant noting: “We are happy to be part of this exercise because keeping our community clean means protecting our families from diseases.”

The District Chief Executive further assured the community that sanitation will remain a top priority for the Amansie West District.
