As the clock ticks down to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries on January 31, 2026, the political atmosphere is heating up across the country. And in Aburaso, Atwima Kwanwoma constituency, one group is leaving no doubts about where their loyalty lies.

Calling themselves the Friends of Kennedy Agyapong, the group over the weekend rolled up their sleeves for a massive community cleanup exercise-but it wasn’t just about brooms and shovels. It was also about sending a loud message to delegates: “Choose a bold leader who can deliver victory in 2028.”

The group insists that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is the man to beat, describing him as fearless, visionary, and the kind of leader the youth can truly connect with.

“Delegates must think about the future of Ghana and the younger generation. Kennedy Agyapong is the bold choice who can lead the NPP to victory and secure the country’s progress,” they declared.

With the primaries barely four months away, the competition is intensifying. But for the Aburaso group, their campaign message is simple: Kennedy Agyapong is the hope of the youth, and the right man for 2028.
