OGYEAHOHOO YAW GYEBI II RETAINED AS PRESIDENT  OF WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL HOUSE OF CHIEFS

The Paramount chief of the Anhwiaso Traditional Council, who doubles as the president of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi ll, has been retained as the president of the Western North Regional House of Chiefs.

After the successful completion of a four-year mandate and demonstration of innovative and dedicated leadership, the President of the National House of Chiefs was approved by a unanimous decision by the 21 members of the Western North Regional House of Chiefs at Sefwi Wiawso on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.

By popular acclamation, the Western North Director of the Electoral Commission declared Nana Ogyeahoho the winner of the elections and the elected president of the regional House of Chiefs.

Okogyeaman Gyamprah lll, paramount chief of the Chirano traditional council was also retained as the Vice President of the chieftaincy institution in Western North Region.

Nananom, Anhwiaso Traditional Council, and the entire Western North region congratulate our revered chiefs and wish them well in their endeavours.
