Minister Speaks On Fighting Crime tasking Ghanaians To Partner With Police :

Ghana’s deputy minister of Defense minister Honourable Kofi Amankwa-Manu who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the good people of Atwima Kwanwoma constituency of Ashant region has called on the general public especially,Stakeholders in development to collaborate with Ghana Police service to beef up security in Atwima Kwanwoma.

He said fighting crime is a core responsibility which need more hands to fulfill the goal.

Mr Kofi Amankwa-Manu in his address, entreated individual citizens in the country to rally support Ghana Police service to help beef up security in various communities to enhance economic development.According to him,Police alone cannot do it all .

He however urged Police personnel to always ensure that their activities conform to security rules and regulations.

Hon Kofi Amankwah Manu made this known to the public during official sod cutting ceremony for commencement of a district Police headquarters,Atwima Foase.

In his part, the Asokwa Divisional Police commander, Chief Inspector Ernest Acheampong, also commended the Member of Parliament and the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP for making security sector more attractive.He again assured to make good use of the facility when completed.

The chief of Atwima Foase, Nana Appiah Ampam Frimpong II, expressed shock about the NPP government commitment towards the ongoing numerous development projects in the district such as roads, health and security.
