Roads in Amansie South, West will see a facelift in 2024-Hon Simon Osei Mensah assured

The Ashanti regional minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah has assured chiefs and people of both Amansie South and west districts that npp government led by president Akuffo is committed to ensure that poor road networks in the districts received a facelift within this year 2024.

He said, road networks from Anwiankwanta to Manso Nkwanta and Mpatuom and other part of Amansie South district will be motorable to easy transportation in the two districts.

Hon Simon Osei Mensah was speaking to newsmen during the confirmation of president ‘ nomination Mr Oscar Asare Andoh as district chief executive for Amansie West district of Ashanti region.

Mr Oscar Asare Andoh secured 38 out 38 of assembly members presence in voting representing 100% percent.

 

He however urged the newly confirmed DCE Hon Oscar Asare Andoh to ensure accountability and fairness with the assembly members to promote development in the district.

In his response, the newly confirmed DCE Hon Oscar Asare Andoh expressed gratitude to president Akuffo Addo,the assembly members, and the traditional leaders for impose trust in him and assured to deliver his best to district.

Nana Drako Gyau III, Kontihene of Manso Nkwanta traditional council asked the regional minister to ensure that the government honor its promises made to them to construct poor road networks in the district.

He however appealed to the government to establish nursing training college in the district.
