NDC Cannot Compare Themselves to NPP in Terms of Good Policies – Manso Nkwanta NPP Patron, Mr. Robert Osei (Atulupeepe)

Patron of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Manso Nkwanta Constituency, Mr. Robert Osei, popularly known as Atulupeepe, has strongly asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot be compared to the NPP when it comes to formulating and implementing impactful policies for the nation’s development. He made this statement during a community engagement aimed at highlighting the NPP’s achievements and plans for the future.

Mr. Osei emphasized that the NPP’s track record, particularly in areas like education, health, and infrastructure, speaks volumes about the party’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians. He cited flagship policies such as the Free Senior High School program, which has provided education to millions of young Ghanaians, as a clear example of the party’s dedication to building human capital.

In addition to education, Mr. Osei highlighted ongoing developments in the health sector, including the construction of new hospitals across the country, as well as the improvement of road networks, particularly in rural areas like the Manso Nkwanta constituency. He noted that several road projects are currently in progress, which will enhance trade, accessibility, and overall economic growth in these areas.

“We in the NPP believe in policies that bring tangible change to the lives of the people. The NDC cannot compare themselves to us in terms of good policies. Our achievements are visible and undeniable,” Mr. Osei remarked.

As the country heads towards the 2024 general elections, Mr. Osei urged Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the NPP for another four years to allow the party to continue with its developmental agenda. He expressed optimism that the NPP will secure victory in the upcoming elections, given the overwhelming support from the people.

“We are confident that Ghanaians will once again entrust us with another term. The NPP is committed to building on the good works we have started. We are praying for peaceful elections and firmly believe that we will win come 2024,” he added.

Mr. Robert Osei (Atulupeepe) also
raised serious concerns about the persistent illegal mining activities in the country, accusing certain individuals of deliberately masterminding these operations to undermine the government’s efforts to combat the menace.

“There are people behind these rampant illegal mining activities whose sole aim is to frustrate the government’s effort to fight this issue. They want to make it seem like the government is failing, but we know their agenda,” Mr. Osei remarked.

He urged the NPP government to remain vigilant and intensify its efforts to clamp down on illegal mining operations across the country. In his opinion, without strict monitoring and enforcement of the laws, the illegal miners could continue to pose a significant threat to the environment, especially water bodies.

“I call on the NPP government to be more vigilant in the fight against illegal mining. We must not allow a few selfish individuals to destroy our environment for their personal gain. The future of our water bodies and natural resources is at stake, and we need to act swiftly,” he added.

Mr. Osei also stressed the need for the government to put in place stronger measures to curb illegal mining, particularly those operations happening on rivers and other water bodies. He emphasized the importance of protecting the country’s natural resources for future generations and ensuring that mining activities are conducted in a sustainable manner.

“We must be firm in ensuring that those mining in our water bodies are stopped. The destruction of our rivers is unacceptable. The government needs to enforce the laws more strictly and hold offenders accountable,” Mr. Osei urged.
