WONTUMI DARLING BOY RESCUES ABUAKWA RESIDENTS WITH FREE MEDICAL SCREENING:

The health of the people is the wealth of a nation,a reknowned Kumasi based Wontumi media broadcast Journalist,Oheneba Nana Asiedu in collaboration with Nkawie government hospital,living Waters hospital and Abuakwa Asenemaso traditional Council on Saturday,7th September organised a massive free medical screening for over thousands of residents of Abuakwa in the Atwima Nwabiagya south municipal and its surrounding areas in the Ashanti Region.

Over Two thousand residents benefitted from a one day free medical screening exercise which forms part of the activities marking his birthday party.

With the help of Professional health Practitioners including Students from various Health Medical centers and other Nursing and Midwifery Schools supported in the conducted comprehensive medical consultations; provided appropriate medications, educated beneficiaries, and promoted overall well-being within the surrounding Communities.

The screenings included tests for hepatitis,BP, malaria, typhoid, diabetes, hypertension, eye alongside other vital health checks and the distribution of medications for various ailments. The initiative raised awareness about managing chronic conditions such as general scanning and diabetes through glucose level and blood pressure monitoring.

According to the host who is also a veteran broadcast Journalist,Nana Asiedu,the initiative was sought to improve the immediate health of participants. “Bringing healthcare delivery to the doorsteps of individuals with Abuakwa Asenemaso and it’s environs so I intend doing my best as individual to make a move to impact residents.

As part of his corporate social thus,Oheneba Nana Asiedu responsibilities which seek to provide compassionate healthcare services and foster the well-being of residents within the area.

He emphasized the importance of such exercises, emphasizing that he help identify if one has a particular disease or condition.He advised the general public about the regular check up to help identify early detection, followed by treatment and good control of the condition, can result in better treatment outcomes and lower the risk of serious complications.


The coordinating organiser,Nana Kwaku Dua, added the initiative is seeks to champion good health and well-being while fostering goodwill and better collaborations within the community.
